Jim Winkler and this article takes a strictly secular path to a problem with moral foundations not admitted in our society today. If we would address the reality and concerns lifted up in Angie Williams article ("Commentary on Va. Tech: For such a time as this," UMNS, April 18) and focus on the remedies there, we would not have to spend so much effort trying to unsuccessfully control the results of gun ownership and availablility.
