Why ask only if Tea Party is unbiblical? It seems that the progressive agenda of wanting to possibly legislate piety, discipleship and Christian action would put us back under the law instead of under grace. The federal or state government is not the church and never will be until every elected and appointed official is/was/will be a follower of Christ. Making doing good works the law doesn't make the works Christian by any Biblical standard of whatever you do, doing it for the Lord and not for man. My heart aches that people confuse the government for the church. Maybe both the Tea Party and Democrat Progressives are unbiblical.
