I was excited when I read of the committee's dream for the church. Then I became concerned as I continued reading that the committee is looking mostly at the structures and conventional business economics. I hope that the work of this committee is much more bathed in prayer and fasting than the article indicates. The key is in the vitality of local churches, freed from unnecessary structural burdens inside and out, showing God's love through social action and inviting others to fellowship and faith.
