I read the book when it first came out, loved it and yet struggled with it. I read too all the "dishing" of it. But I have to say your article in explanation of how you viewed "The Shack" gave me enormous comfort and joy, so especially the last few sentences. Thank you.

I had similar thoughts on "The Shack" ... Both my husband and I, as well as much of our Sunday school class, have read "The Shack" ... thought provoking. Saw a commentary by the author in the newspaper, and he is not even a professing Christian, but felt "nudged, called" to write this. ... I think God was working his purpose in the author's life, and who knows where it will lead. He is indeed an AWESOME GOD.
